너희 하나님 여호와는 너희와 함께 행하시며 

너희를 위하여 너희 적군과 싸우시고

구원하실 것이라 할 것이며

능하신 손 아래에서 겸손하라

때가 되면 너희를 높이시리라

범사에 기한이 있고

천하 만사가 다 때가 있나니

There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under heaven:(NIV)

여호와께서 너희의 땅에 이른 비,

늦은 비를 적당한 때에 내리시리니

너희가 곡식과 포도주와 기름을 얻을 것이요

then I will send rain on your land in its season,

both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather

in your grain, new wine and oil.(NIV)

두세 사람이 내 이름으로 모인 곳에는

나도 그들 중에 있느니라

For where two or three come together in my name,

새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라

내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이

A new command I give you: Love one another.

형제를 사랑하여

서로 우애하고 존경하기를

각각 자기 일을 돌볼뿐더러

Each of you should look not only to your own interests,

하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은

두려워하는 마음이 아니요

오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,

but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.(NIV)

그의 영광의 힘을 따라 모든 능력으로

능하게 하시며 기쁨으로 모든 견딤과

오래 참음에 이르게 하시고

being strengthened with all power according to

his glorious might so that you may have

great endurance and patience, and joyfully(NIV)

무슨 말이냐 믿는 자에게는

능히 하지 못할 일이 없느니라 하시니

하나님이여 위엄을 성소에서 나타내시나이다

이스라엘의 하나님은 그의 백성에게 힘과

능력을 주시나니 하나님을 찬송할지어다

You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary;

the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.

여호와의 눈은 온 땅을 두루 감찰하사

전심으로 자기에게 향하는 자들을 위하여

능력을 베푸시나니-

사랑하는 자들아 영을 다 믿지 말고

오직 영들이 하나님께 속하였나 분별하라

많은 거짓 선지자가 세상에 나왔음이라

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits

to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets

have gone out into the world.(NIV)

너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며

부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로

자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,

a workman who does not need to be ashamed and

who correctly handles the word of truth.(NIV)

주의 몸을 분별하지 못하고 먹고 마시는 자는

자기의 죄를 먹고 마시는 것이니라

For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body

of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.(NIV)

내 아들아 지식의 말씀에서 떠나게 하는

교훈을 듣지 말지니라

Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from

the words of knowledge.(NIV)
